Uncle Dick

Uncle Dick is a Wiradjuri Elder who grew up in Euabalong near Murrin Bridge. He has lived in Condobolin since about 1969. He met his wife in Condobolin and stayed there ever since.

He is an expert boomerang thrower, and his boomerangs return, and he catches them. He is known all over Wiradjuri country for boomerang throwing. He visits schools all over showing his skills which the younger generation haven’t seen. The teachers and the children really love learning about boomerang throwing and seeing them being caught.
